- Thurston’s Catfoss site is now a Bureau Veritas approved test facility
- Accreditation allows testing of offshore units under Bureau Veritas supervision
We are delighted to share that Thurston has been certified as a Bureau Veritas approved test facility.
The accreditation from Bureau Veritas, a world-leading company in testing, inspection, and certification, allows Thurston to carry out prototype testing of offshore units at our Catfoss site under the supervision of a Bureau Veritas inspector. Only one other company in the UK currently holds this approval.
To achieve this status, the Catfoss site underwent a rigorous audit covering production facilities, welder qualifications, weld inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT), and overall quality procedures.
This approval confirms that we operate within strict regulatory frameworks, strengthening our position as leaders in rigorous testing, quality assurance, and health and safety standards.
